In 2015–2019, Belgium’s funding to mine action totaled more than €10 million ($11.7 million). When expressed in euros, this is 30% more than the €7.7 million contributed during the previous five-year period, from 2010–2014. This represents a 15% increase when expressed in dollars, due to the negative impact of the variation in the exchange rate ($10.2 million provided in 2010–2014).
