Support for Mine Action

In 2014, the Kingdom of Denmark contributed DKK68.1 million (US$12,126,600)[1] in mine action funding; this represents a 30% increase from 2013. The largest country-specific contribution went to Afghanistan (DKK15 million/$2.8 million) for clearance work.

As in 2013, Denmark contributed DKK5 million ($890,456) for victim assistance through the ICRC; this accounted for 7% of its total contribution to mine action.

In 2010–2014, Denmark’s contribution for mine action totaled almost DKK278 million (approximately $50 million), with an annual contribution averaging approximately DKK56 million ($10 million).
