Monitoring progress in eliminating landmines, cluster munitions, and other explosive remnants of war.
Cluster Munition Monitor
Cluster Munition Monitor covers global developments in ban policy, survey and clearance of cluster munition remnants, casualties and victim assistance.
Cluster Munition Monitor, now in its tenth edition, was first released in 2010 and builds upon the 2009 report Banning Cluster Munitions: Government Policy and Practice, which was researched and written by Human Rights Watch and Landmine Action (now Action On Armed Violence), and published by the Monitor. Cluster Munition Monitor 2019 (to be published 29 August 2019) focuses on calendar year 2018 with some information updated into August 2019 where possible. It covers global developments in ban policy, cluster munition contamination and clearance, casualties and victim assistance. Country-specific developments are available in online Country Profiles.
