Dennis Solberg Kjeldsen


Dennis Solberg Kjeldsen is the Head of Policy, Advocacy and Learning at DanChurchAid (DCA), having also headed up the Humanitarian Response and Mine Action work of the organisation. He currently leads all policy and advocacy work of the organisation ranging from issues related to humanitarian Mine Action, humanitarian response as well as longer term development. 

Mr. Kjeldsen commenced his professional career with 10 years in Danish Armed Forces including foreign deployments and over time an increasing focus on Civil-Military Cooperation. Following a transition into emergency response operations he has served in a number of roles in various countries with the Red Cross including as Country Director and Deputy Regional Representative, and later as the Regional Head of the Danish Demining Group in the Horn of Africa and Yemen.

He represents DanChurchAid on the Governance Board of International Campaign to Ban Landmines and Cluster Munitions Coalition.

Mr. Kjeldsen holds a bachelor in Social Sciences from the University of Aalborg in Denmark, and a Masters Degree in Politics and Public Administration from the same institution.
