Alma Taslidžan Al-Osta

Alma Taslidžan Al-Osta started her career as a journalist working for local and national media in Bosnia and Herzegovina, engaged on topics related to education and politics. After working with international organsiations mainly on youth related projects, she started working for Handicap International in 2007, as Communication and Advocacy Officer, and later as Regional Communication and Advocacy Manager working in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia on projects related to mine action and disability. Currently, Mrs. Taslidžan Al-Osta is working for Humanity & Inclusion (formerly Handicap International) in Belgium as Arms Advocacy Manager.

Mrs. Taslidžan Al-Osta, holds a university degree in Journalism and Public relations, from Faculty of Political Science, University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and is a candidate for a Master Degree on Communication at the same University.

She sits in the Governance Board of International Campaign to Ban Landmines and Cluster Munitions Coalition, Steering Committee of the International Network on Explosive Weapons and she is a member of the Monitoring and Research Committee of the Landmine and Cluster Munition Monitor.
